Melody stations are made up of modular high performing Industrial IT controllers, an entire range of input/output modules, and state-of-the-art fieldbus interfaces.
For different markets and customer requirements there are two variants of Industrial IT controllers to choose from:
- CMC 70 for use in cabinets - for instance in central electronics rooms,
- System 800x's controller AC 870P for rail mounting - ideal for decentralized fieldbus systems.
Both controllers, AC 870P and CMC 70 are compatible for use in conjunction with one another and can be planned identically. They allow scalable system redundancy without the need for additional engineering work. The redundancy may vary from simple module redundancy to redundancy throughout the entire system.
