Short Flat Glass Industrial pH Combination Electrode
The 1718 general purpose electrode has a robust epox body for high durability. The pH sensing element is a flat glass membrane, this is surrounded by a ring of porous PTFE which serves as the junction. As the membrane is parallel to the flow direction this flow can have a self-cleaning effect on the membrane in many cases. The PTFE junction repels contamination and is easily cleaned. This combination of features means the electrode is ideal for measurements in dirty, or aggressive, environments.
