This general purpose 1711 electrode is for use where robustness and ease of use are of prime importance. The platinum pin is recessed inside the epoxy tube for optimum protection, reducing breakages due to rough handling. Typical applications include Redox measurements in the oxidation of cyanide and chrome wastes, bleach manufacture, bleaching of pulp, reduction of chromate wastes, general water pollution and swimming pool applications.
