Model 268NS is a Safety-Critical absolute pressure transmitter with a maximum working pressure of up to 21MPa, 3045psi. This Safety instrument has been designed, developed and manufactured according to the IEC61508/ISA S84.01 which fixes diagnostic, safety and reliability parameters. It is extremely important to remark that the new 268 can be used in SIL3 loops when installed in a redundant configuration (1oo2).
