The Conductivity Cell 2271 is designed to be clamped or screwed into pipelines and vessels and is ideal for use in a wide range of applications including brewing & dairy CIP plants, pulp & paper manufacture, industrial effluent and water quality monitoring in tidal rivers, river and canal waters & desalination plants. The associated conductivity analyzer, when connected to the 2271, measures the current and voltage characteristics of the electrolyte separately. This allows the electrode surfaces to become coated without impairing operation of the measuring system. With its ability to provide consistently accurate monitoring and control, under conditions which would adversely affect a standard two-electrode conductivity system, the multi-electrode system can be used in areas which would otherwise be maintenance-intensive.
