The following functions are provided:
- Contingency detection
- Identification and size/variation of the most important frequency
- Amplitude of the most important kind of frequency change
- Damping of the most important kind of frequency change
- Gradient of the frequency change
- Estimated current average of the analyzed signal
- Estimated oscillation amplitude of the analyzed signal
- Trend indication of oscillation and the appropriate damping
- On-line warning and emergency alerting, release and basic value for load shedding for the provided remedial action scheme with a data repetition rate of 1 second
Prediction of the power systems status after each contingency, allowing potential collapses to be recognized at an early stage, and countermeasures to be initiated.
