The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Energy Efficiency Scheme

With the UK Government's CRC Energy Efficiency now part of legislation, businesses need to act now to reduce their carbon footprint. Organisations that consume more than 6 GWh/year and use a half-hourly meter, must register for the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme - A mandatory scheme to promote energy efficiency amongst large non-energy intensive organisations in both the public and private sector. The scheme is a UK business tax and is the government's preferred method when it comes to controlling emissions.
