Tuesday, May 27 ended with a well-attended press conference where
Bill Dannelly, global marketing manager Pulp&Paper;
Jorma Nasinkoski, regional manager and
Kent Jansson, business unit manager Pulp&Paper in the presence of some twenty journalists among other things talked about how ABB’s solutions can make the paper mills more energy effective.
Sellers as well as ”bundles of energy” answered for a giant effort yesterday and sometimes it was quite crowded in the stand. The staff in the fine information counter is also worthy of great praise for their work – potential and existing customers are taken care of by the alert ladies behind the counter. The quiz competition where the stand visitors must answer questions about energy effectivity and by that have a chance of winning fine prizes was most popular, yesterday no fewer than 102 visitors took part in the competition.
At the time of writing it's a solid high pressure in the stand and interested visitors are jostling with psyched up stand staff.

Björn Hultman from Billerud in Skärblacka has just got an extensive demonstration of 800xA and EOW by ABB’s Per Lundmark.
You seem to be interested in 800xA?
– Yes, your control systems are of interest to me. Besides this big demo is a real attracting crowd-puller.
Is this the first time you get into contact with 800xA and the EOW?
– Yes, I've seen your older control systems before but this is the first time I get a demonstration of 800xA. There were quite a lot of novelties for me and it’s of course mighty ”flashy” I must say.
Are you in contact with ABB today?
– We don’t use your control systems today but we have a great deal of other ABB equipment so I recognize some things och even some faces here today.
What do you get out of a visit in our stand?
– It’s a very good opportunity to see all available possibilities. What Per just has shown me was very interesting. It’s maybe not what you use every day in the mill but it’s very nice to see what’s feasible. You cannot experience anything like this anywhere else.
