ABB Crane Systems has signed an order for two crane driver simulators, with YILPORT Container Terminal & Port Operator Inc. in Turkey.
The order includes both the Ship-to-Shore cranes (STS) and Rubber Tire Gantry cranes (RTG) applications and will be delivered in early 2009.
One of the reasons for YILPORT to select ABB is the proven experience in port crane systems.
YILPORT is a privately owned port in Gebze, Turkey (Istanbul), and is a part of Yildirim group (YILDIRIM Holding Inc.). YILPORT hereby makes an investment in the training of the crane driver in the Istanbul area.
