2003-04-17 - Register for ABB’s Apprentice Support Scheme and spend up to £10 with each Housemaster purchase at major high street stores
The only difficulty electrical apprentice Sharon Gamblin has with ABB’s new range of Housemaster consumer units is deciding how to spend her free educational and lifestyle vouchers. Sharon, who is in the first year of her electrical apprenticeship at Eastleigh College, Hampshire, recently installed one of ABB’s consumer units while working with Steve’s Electrical, the industrial and domestic electrical contractor based in Waltham Chase.
ABB is offering free vouchers worth up to £10 with each Housemaster purchase. By completing a pre-paid card inside each consumer unit, electrical apprentices will receive a membership card and a welcome pack explaining the benefits of the support scheme, together with free lifestyle vouchers which can be spent at a number of high street stores including, Virgin, B&Q, WHSmith and British School of Motoring.
Apprentice Support Scheme
ABB has developed its Apprentice Support Scheme in association with JTL, the industry’s leading training provider. Through the scheme ABB is helping to develop the skills of apprentice electricians by supporting JTL in providing course materials as well as domestic circuit protection products that will enable ‘hands on training’ in selected colleges throughout the country.
Benefits
Joining the scheme will entitle members to a range of exciting and educational benefits. These include: free lifestyle and educational vouchers when purchasing selected ABB domestic products; priority information on new products from ABB; invitations to ABB sponsored educational seminars and events; regular information on new issues affecting the electrical industry.
More information on how electricians can register themselves and their apprentice for the ABB Apprentice Support Scheme is available on the free phone number 0800-374723.
