ABB presents toolboxes to winners in its Apprentice Support Scheme draw

2003-11-19 - Toolboxes are prizes in free draw for first batch of apprentices to register with ABB’s Apprentice Support Scheme

Thirty lucky electrical apprentices throughout the UK who registered with ABB’s Apprentice Support Scheme have been presented with toolboxes fully stocked with all the tools and accessories they are likely to need in the early years of their career. The toolboxes were the prizes in a free draw for the first batch of apprentices to sign up with the new Support Scheme, developed by ABB in association with JTL, the industry’s leading training provider.

Through its Apprentice Support Scheme ABB is helping to develop the skills of apprentice electricians by supporting JTL in providing course materials as well as domestic circuit protection products that will enable ‘hands on training’ in selected colleges throughout the country. Joining the scheme also entitles members to a range of exciting and educational benefits. These include: free lifestyle and educational vouchers when purchasing selected ABB domestic products; priority information on new products from ABB; invitations to ABB sponsored educational seminars and events; regular information on new issues affecting the electrical industry.

Information on how electricians can register themselves and their apprentice for the ABB Apprentice Support Scheme is available on the free phone number 0800-374723.
