The selection process is very straightforward. It may vary slightly depending on the position being filled, and as part of the process you may be asked to complete some relevant psychometric questionnaires.
Applying
Applications are invited for our 2007 Graduate Programme. Please see the Available Student Jobs, and submit your application using the on-line form.
Submitting the form
When submitting your application on-line, we suggest that you print off the application form and prepare your answers carefully before you submit it.
When submitting online you will need to complete and save it in one session – there is no save and return function. And once it has been sent it cannot be retrieved.
Take your time to plan and review your answers. The application process takes time but we need to know as much about you as possible. What you tell us on the form will be what we use to decide whether to proceed further with your application, so don’t rush and don’t skip any questions.
At the top of the form we ask for your ‘letter of motivation’. Here, you should provide the information that you would normally put in a covering letter if you were sending the application by post. Tell us why you are interested in ABB and our graduate opportunities and why you think that you are the sort of person we are looking for.
If applying online we do advise you to print out the finished form before submitting it.
Please note that we cannot accept CVs or covering letters so please concentrate on the application form.
Application Review
Shortly after you submit your application you will receive an acknowledgement by email. After the closing date we will review all applications and if we then decide to take your application further we will be in touch to tell you about the next stage of the process.
